    WCPSS Health Services promotes student health, wellness, and academic success by providing key components of an effective student and community health program. Health Services provides education, activities, and support that are designed to prevent, protect, and promote health and well-being, reduce serious illness, disease and unhealthy behaviors by providing a unified, seamless system of services and communication, regarding best practices and policies and procedures related to student health and wellness through the Board of Education, local, state and federal requirements/compliance.

    Duke Primary Care and WakeMed offer various locations in Wake County where families can access health assessments, vaccines, and sports physicals. Explore the services available to families at both Duke Primary Care and WakeMed locations.

     

    Back-to-School Immunizations

    Wake County Public Health is offering extended hours of Clinic E every Tuesday and Thursday between 5:30 - 7:15 p.m. for back-to-school immunizations! Both walk-in and appointments are available.

    It is the parent's responsibility to inform the child's teacher or principal if there are medical conditions that require special measures such as dietary or activity restrictions at school for the student. School Nurses are available for health consultation, but are not present at the school on a daily basis.
