    SCHOOL WIDE UPDATES

IMPORTANT VACCINE BOOSTER REQUIREMENT FOR CLASS OF 2026

North Carolina law requires all rising 12th graders to receive a meningococcal vaccine booster before starting 12th grade. Parent/Guardians will need to provide

a copy of their child’s immunization record showing proof that the meningococcal vaccine has been completed prior to the first day of school. This is a 2-dose immunization; the 1st dose was required in the 7th grade in Wake County schools. This requirement is for everyone in the Class of 2026.

    WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK!

Helping students do their best in school requires a team effort. Parents, students, and schools all play important roles in this process. Help us make your child's school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey from April 7 - May 16. Parents or caregivers: Complete the survey once for each school where you have a child enrolled. If you have more than one child enrolled in the same school, you will only need to complete the survey once.

    DONATE UNUSED MY SCHOOL BUCKS

Child Nutrition Services created the Angel Fund, which uses donated money to temporarily cover meals for students who exceed the charge limit. Thanks to generous community support, the fund has already provided over 3,500

breakfasts and 15,000 lunches—and continued donations are needed to keep it going. Every contribution, big or small, helps make sure no student goes hungry.
