    SEL BEHAVIOR UNIVERSAL SCREENER

We will again be screening students using the Behavior Intervention Monitoring Assessment System, Second Edition (BIMAS-2). We will screen all students in 9th through 12th grade in the coming weeks.

What is the SEL Behavior Universal Screener?

We’ll be using the Behavior Intervention Monitoring Assessment System-2 or BIMAS-2. This is a research-based screening tool. It will help identify students who may be at risk of future academic, behavioral, or emotional difficulties.

Teachers will be filling out screening forms for students from October 7th through November 8th. If you would like to opt-out for the screening this school year, please fill out this form and return it to your child’s second period teacher or our school psychologist - Jasmin Traughber (jtraughber@wcpss.net) by October 7, 2024.
