    SCHOOL WIDE UPDATES

    WE WANT YOUR FEEDBACK!

Help us make your child’s school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey now through May 15. Complete the survey once for each school where you have a child enrolled. If you have more than one child enrolled in the same school, you will only need to complete the survey once.

26-27 COURSE VERIFICATIONS DUE APRIL 24

Course Verification forms were sent out via students' 2nd period teachers on April 10th . Parents, please review your child's course selections for the 2026-27 academic year and note any changes.  Course availability is not guaranteed due to potential staffing changes. Course change requests after April 24 may not be honored, so please take the time to carefully review the course selections.  These course verifications are due to your child's 2nd period teacher by April 24.

    JORDAN DRIVING SUMMER 2026

    ANNUAL WCPSS STUDENT ENGAGEMENT SURVEY

This spring, students in grades 5-13 will be asked to complete the annual WCPSS Student Engagement Survey. Your child will be given an opportunity to complete this survey during the school day.  The survey includes questions about their school experience, including topics such as teacher-student relationships, relevance of schoolwork, and future aspirations and goals. The results of this survey help schools monitor their School Improvement Plans and help the district track student perceptions about their educational experiences. Student responses to individual questions are not shared with the school.

You can click here to review the questions included in this survey.

If you would prefer your child not complete the survey, please complete this OPT OUT form by Monday, April 20th.

If you have any questions concerning the content of the survey, please contact the Wake County Public School’s Data, Research, and Accountability Department at wcpss-data-accountability@wcpss.net
