The Hilburn Student Support Services Team aims to provide enhanced support to students in need. Students may need a variety of support during their time at Hilburn. The Student Support Services Team can help students during transitions, crises, stressful seasons of life, or with problem-solving. The staff on this team are trained to provide specialized support to students and families.

Mrs. Lima- School Psychologist

About: I am a proud wife, mother, daughter, and sister from Newport News, Virginia. I love spending time with my family, cooking and laughing. I also love spending time in nature. At school, I take pride in working directly with students as well as partnering with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments.

About: I am originally from Vermont and moved to North Carolina in 2013. I have been a school-based speech language pathologist since 2013. I enjoy spending time with my dogs, going to the beach, and playing pool!

Ms. Connor- Physical Therapist

About: My name is Adrienne Connor, and I am a Pediatric Physical Therapist. I began working with WCPSS in November 2018 where I serve several schools in the NW region of the county. I am originally from the Tri-state area of NY/NJ/PA. I am one of the youngest of a large family of 6 children, 21 nieces/nephews, and 8+ great nieces/nephews. I am married to my college sweetheart, and I have two teenagers that attend the Leesville Road Schools. My hobbies include listening to music, dancing, watching good tv/movies, eating/cooking, and hosting/hanging out with family/friends!!!

About: I was born and raised in Meriden, CT. I am the baby of 5 and the family favorite!!! I graduated from Saint Joseph College with a BS in Social Work and from Fordham University with a Master of Social Work degree. I have been married for over 26 years and have two daughters and a bonus son. I enjoy spending weekends with my granddaughter, Lynnix, as well as reading, cooking, baking, and watching reality TV.
