Hello Pleasant Grove Flyers!
My name is Cristina Chase Lane, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Pleasant Grove Elementary School!

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an ESL add-on licensure from NC State University (Go Pack!). I fell in love with Wake County and decided to begin my teaching career at Reedy Creek Elementary. My dedication to education was recognized early on when I was named Runner-Up for the inaugural NCCAT Beginning Teacher of the Year award following my first year of teaching.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving in various leadership roles, including grade-level chair, SIP coordinator, and mentor coordinator. I completed my Master’s in School Administration from UNC Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) and my Assistant Principal Internship at Wake Young Women’s Leadership Academy. Now, I am thrilled to call Pleasant Grove Elementary my new home.

I believe that learning should be both meaningful and fun, and I am passionate about fostering strong, positive relationships with every scholar. I look forward to working together with our Flyer families to support and inspire each scholar’s journey to success!
