My name is Meredith Olson and I’m thrilled to be the new Visual Arts teacher at Pleasant Grove! I graduated from NC State with an arts degree before receiving my masters degree in Art Therapy from George Washington University. I live in Raleigh with my husband, young son and our rescue kitty. When not working on my own art, I love to adventure around the city with my family, relax during family movie and game nights, and travel whenever I’m able. Prior to teaching, I had a long career with the YMCA running various youth and teen programs. I am so excited to bring my passion for art and the joy in the creative process to PGES students this year!
