School Hours

• Students Arrive at 7:45 – 8:10 AM
• School Day Starts 8:15 AM
• Students Dismiss at 3:00 PM  
• After 2:30 PM, students must be picked up in carpool – no early checkouts.

Important Dates 

• Wednesday August 20th (5:00–6:00 pm) – Popsicles on the Playground
• Kindergarten Staggered Entry and Meet the Teacher (students will attend on the following day based on the first letter of their last name)
  

  • • Monday 8/25 - Last Names A-F
    • Tuesday 8/26 - Last Names G-N
      
    • Wednesday 8/27 - Last Names O-Z

  Please plan to bring your child in at 8:30 and pick up at 2:30

  Thursday August 28th, we will have Kindergarten Meet the Teacher from 1:00-2:30pm

  Friday, August 29th, will be the first FULL Day of Kindergarten!

Health Information

• Kindergarten Health Assessment
• Immunization Forms and Kindergarten Health Assessments must be turned in by September 18, 2023, or students will be excluded from school.

Carpool Tags

• If your student uses carpool throughout the year, please sign up for a carpool number.  (Carpool numbers will be available at the front office, but also at all of our Beginning of the Year Events, Including-Popsicles on the Playground, each day during Kindergarten Staggered Entry, and Kindergarten “Meet the Teacher.”)
• If your kindergarten student has an older sibling at Hilburn, the whole family will use the same carpool number that is already being used.  

Medications

• 1702 Medication Form
• A parent must bring the medication to school and sign the medication into the office (DO NOT send medication in with the child)
• Medications must be in their original containers with the prescription label.
