Welcome to Laurel Park! I have been teaching in WCPSS for 22 years. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am a National Board Certified teacher that enjoys providing students with a positive learning environment where they can explore math, science, reading, and writing. I have two wonderful kids that were once Laurel Park Penguins too. I enjoy helping students grow academically, socially, and individually. I look forward to working with families to meet the needs of all of my students.

I am a Buffalo Bills fan! I love reading, cooking, camping, the beach, riding bikes, and watching college sports (I am a TAR HEEL!). I enjoy watching the sunrise at the beach or at the lake.
