Hello! My name is Annie Schafran and I am currently a track 4 Kindergarten IA. This will be my 6th year at Laurel Park. I have had many roles in education from substitute teaching to working at the preschool level for 8 yrs before coming to LPES.

 I was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Cary in 2001 with my family.  
My husband and I have two daughters. My oldest daughter Alexis is 28 has been married for almost 2 years, is a First Grade teacher and just had her first baby, Ella Blake.  My youngest daughter Bailey who is 24, graduated from ECU and is currently teaching First Grade at Laurel Park.

My husband and I love spending time with our new granddaughter!! I enjoy playing golf, cooking for my family, and watching college football!!  We have just started traveling more. We love to cheer on the Michigan Wolverines...Go Blue!  During my track-outs, I often travel to Michigan to see my family. I have two cats (Sadie and Rue) and one cute frenchie named Pepper.

I am looking forward to another great year at LPES.
