I am excited to start a new year with you!  I think you will really enjoy our learning topics!  I can’t wait to get to know you and learn together. I grew up in Raleigh and attended NC State University for my Bachelor’s Degree.  I moved to Philadelphia and earned my Master’s Degree from Rosemont College. I started my teaching career in Philly, but soon moved back to the Raleigh area. I am starting my 20th year teaching!  

When I am not working, I enjoy reading, relaxing in my hammock, gardening in my yard, and going for hikes in nature. My favorite local spot is Bass Lake Nature Park. I also love an amazing cup of coffee and snuggling with my 2 dogs.
