My name is Keith Hughes.  I attended Southern Connecticut State University and hold a degree in Elem. Ed and Psychology. I began my teaching career in Wake County in 2008 and have been teaching ever since. With the teaching profession being part of my family, I remain curious and encourage others to strive towards excellence!  

One of my favorite things is music -- I love all the different types. My favorite color is blue and tacos are my go-to when it comes to favorite foods. I enjoy outdoor adventures with my friends, family, and my two dogs!  My favorite book is “Where the Sidewalk Ends,” by Shel Silverstein.  Watching learning take place continues to fuel my passion for teaching. I am proud to be a part of LPES!
