Unfortunately, you are not able to enroll your student and apply for early college, magnet or year-round school on the same day. It takes 24-48 hours for a student ID number to become active in the application portal. Student data has to be made active by the data manager at the base school, then flow into the application system. Start your WCPSS base school enrollment at least a full week prior to the time you plan to submit the magnet application

If you miss the magnet or early college application period, you may submit a transfer request. Use the available text box to share information about your request. If it is denied, you are eligible for an appeal if your request is submitted within ten (10) days of getting the student ID number (you must have a student ID number that is active with WCPSS).  If you qualify for magnet priority, you could be assigned a priority magnet seat if any are available. Review your level of priority.
