    • The applicant should have a grade point average of 2.5 or better.

  • Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH)

    Who is eligible?

    • Meet the basic eligibility criteria for the federal student aid programs.
    • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), although demonstration of financial need is not required.
    • Be enrolled as an undergraduate, postbaccalaureate, or graduate student at a school that participates in the TEACH Grant Program.
    • Be enrolled in a TEACH-Grant-eligible program.
    • Meet certain academic achievement requirements (generally, scoring above the 75th percentile on one or more portions of a college admissions test or maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25).
    • For specific information about the academic requirements, talk to the financial aid office at your college or career school.
    • Receive TEACH Grant counseling that explains the terms and conditions of the TEACH Grant service obligation. You must complete counseling each year that you receive a TEACH Grant.

    •  You are a first-generation immigrant student who is currently undocumented with or without DACA or TPS and came to the United States before November 1, 2020;
    • Entered the United States before the age of 16 and have continuously lived in the United States since then
    • Have significant unmet financial need; (If you are receiving or eligible for the Federal Pell Grant, you are not eligible for our scholarship.)
    • Live in and have graduated or will graduate from a high school in a targeted locked-out (ex/ NC) state by the end of the 2025-2026 academic year;
    • Graduated or will graduate with a high school GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and have a cumulative college GPA of 2.5 or better (if you have earned college credits after high school);
    • Intend to relocate and live on campus and enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at an Opportunity Partner College in the Fall term of the 2026-2027 academic year.
