    • The applicant must be a resident of Wake County.
    • The applicant must be continuing his or her education at a North Carolina college, university, community or technical school as a full-time student with a minimum of 12 units per semester. 
    • The applicant is required to provide the Wake County Extension and Community Association with a letter of acceptance from the school. 
    • The applicant should have a grade point average of 2.5 or better.
    • Special consideration will be given to applicants seeking careers in family consumer science or related fields.
