The Arts + Pathway

East Millbrook Magnet Middle (EM3) is where creativity, community, and curiosity come together. As the original arts and design middle school on the WCPSS Arts Plus Pathway, we offer students the chance to learn core subjects through hands-on, engaging Arts Integration and Design Thinking strategies.

Our smaller school setting provides a welcoming environment where every student is known and supported. EM3 is the natural next step for students from Douglas, Wildwood Forest, and Brooks Magnet Elementary Schools—and we proudly welcome families from across Wake County who are looking for a middle school that sparks imagination and encourages innovation.

Students who begin their arts journey with us can continue their path at Millbrook Magnet High School, our Arts Plus 9–12 partner, where creative thinking and academic excellence go hand in hand.
