My name is Colleen Pitt and I am excited to be joining the 1st grade team at Oakview! This is my 12th year teaching in Wake County and 1st year as an Oakview Owl!  

I grew up just outside Philadelphia and moved to Raleigh in 2010 to teach Irish dancing.  Since then I met my husband Jason and we have two wonderful children, Finnegan (6) and Kayley (2). We moved to Holly Spring about 2 years ago and we have been enjoying new adventures in the area. We enjoy being outdoors and exploring new parks, camping, swimming, and going on walks. I also enjoy relaxing with a cup of coffee and a good book, kayaking, spending time with family and friends, and home decor projects. 

I am honored to be a part of the Oakview family and I am looking forward to a year filled with lots of learning and fun memories!
