I am so excited to be at Laurel Park! Originally from Maine, my husband and I moved to the Raleigh area in 2012. Since being here, I have taught mostly high school and college science (my degrees are in these areas), but have also worked with elementary students in Science Olympiad, volunteering at church, and John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth programs.

My seventh grade daughter (who is AIG) keeps me hopping, but when I'm not crafting with her, I enjoy traveling, playing with my 2 dogs, reading, volunteering with my church and my daughter's Girl Scout Troop, and sitting in the sunshine. I am looking forward to working with Ms. Atwell, the AIG students, and finding a family with the Laurel Park community!
