Meet The Team

Principal: Dr. Mark Kenjarski | mrkenjarski@wcpss.net

Dr. Kenjarski joined the Weatherstone Explorer Community in 2023. He has spent his entire professional career working in WCPSS schools, first as a teacher and then as a school administrator. Prior to joining Weatherstone, he was principal at Partnership Magnet Elementary. Dr. Kenjarski has degrees from the State University of New York at Geneseo, The College of William and Mary, and North Carolina State University (twice). As a teacher, he earned National Board Certification. Dr. Kenjarski enjoys being active outdoors with his wife and two children.  

Assistant Principal: Erin Hatch | ehatch2@wcpss.net

Ms. Hatch is excited to begin her journey as a Weatherstone Explorer. She has been an educator in North Carolina since 200. During that time she has served as a secondary English teacher, an elementary teacher and, most recently, an administrator. Ms. Hatch earned her Master's degree in School Administration from NC Central University where she was part of the Principal Fellows Program. She enjoys traveling with her husband and daughters and is always on the go. 

Instructional Facilitator: Veronica Roberts | vroberts@wcpss.net 

Mrs. Roberts moved here from Florida with her husband and two energetic boys.  She attended Bethune-Cookman University, Nova Southeastern University and Florida Atlantic University where she earned a B.S. in Elementary Education, a M.S in Reading Education and and a certification in Educational Leadership respectively.   Her 25 years of experience range from teaching various elementary grade levels, Reading Coach, Instructional Facilitator and an Assistant Principal for the past 8 years. When not working, Mrs. Roberts spends the majority of her time with her family.  Their adventures include road trips, going to the beach, visiting museums, trying new restaurants, bowling, and enjoying the outdoors. In the rare moments of “me time”, Mrs. Roberts enjoys shopping, running, reading a good book, and being pampered.  She truly believes that all students can and will learn when given the opportunity!

Secretary: Ann Brown | abrown7@wcpss.net

Mrs. Brown has walked the halls at Weatherstone Elementary since 1999. In the capacity of a parent, PTA president and staff member Mrs. Brown has always felt at home. She has two children Christopher and Megan. She loves spending time with her children, family and friends. Her true happy place is relaxing on a beach. She likes to exercise, attend music concerts and broadway shows. Mrs. Brown went to Elon College where she received a degree in Business Administration. A fun fact about Mrs. Brown is that she has always aspired to be an actress.

Data Manager: Alyssa Healy | ahealy2@wcpss.net

Mrs. Healy has been a part of the Weatherstone Family for the last 3 years, working as an IA in both Kindergarten and Pre-K. She grew up in Miami, Florida and attended the University of Miami as well as FIU where she received a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Healy lives in Cary with her husband Brian and two children Olivia and Andrew. Andrew is currently a third grader at Weatherstone. She has lived in North Carolina for five years and enjoys exploring the state’s beautiful mountains, beaches, and lakes. Mrs. Healy loves college football and is happy to be in ACC country, it’s all about the U!

Receptionist: Katie Morrow | kmorrow@wcpss.net

Mrs. Morrow has been a part of the Weatherstone community since 2016, and she has been an active member of the PTA. Mrs. Morrow attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH where she received her BA in Sociology and minor in Psychology. She is originally from New York and now lives in Cary with her husband Rob, three children, and their dog Sally. Some things that she enjoys are spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, listening to music, and being outdoors.
