• Carpool uses the loop by the front door. The paved lot in front of the gym and cafeteria is designated for bus and day care van delivery of students and for the Before School and After School Program. Parents can help ensure the safety of all children by following the procedures listed below. Please be sure to take your time, look out for others, and if you are walking use the sidewalks and crosswalk.

    Morning Carpool:

    1. Cars transporting students should enter the carpool lane from Olde Weatherstone Way nearest Castalia and exit the campus by turning right only back onto Olde Weatherstone Way.

    2. Please remain in single file along the curb while waiting to deliver students.

    3. Do not park in the carpool lane or leave your car unattended. Continue the single file and leave by following the car loop exit.

    4. In the event you need to enter the building, please pull out of the pick up lane and park in the designated areas. At no time should your car be left unattended in the carpool lane.

    5. Students arriving after 9:15 should report to the office with a parent to receive an admission slip.

    6. Please do not drop students off prior to the bell at 8:45.

    Afternoon Carpool:

    1. Cars transporting students should enter the carpool lane from Olde Weatherstone Way. All cars should line up on Olde Weatherstone Way coming from Cary Parkway and turn left into the carpool lane (see picture below). Please wait in a single file line, parked next to the curb on the right, being careful not to block side streets or driveways. Display your hang tag family number from your rearview mirror. 

    2. Please follow all staff members’ directions while waiting to pick up students.

    3. Exit the campus by turning right only back onto Olde Weatherstone Way.

    4. All carpool students should be picked up by 4:05 pm. After the carpool line has ended you must come into the school to sign your child out. If you cannot regularly pick up your child by this time, please consider the After Care Program or yellow bus service, if eligible.

    5. Parents may not pick up students from the bus waiting area. If the plan is for them to ride the bus home, do not come to school to pick them up after dismissal.
