Mrs. Darwish was born and raised in North Carolina. She views education as a life-long experience and enjoys learning alongside her students each school year. Mrs. Darwish is a mother of five children, including a set of triplets! She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from N.C. State. Go Wolfpack! In addition to teaching in North Carolina, Mrs. Darwish spent nine years teaching in Cairo, Egypt. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, traveling with her family, and spending time with her cute cat, Oreo
Jen Zoller | jzoller@wcpss.net
Mrs. Zoller loves sharing her passion for education with the aWESome students and staff at Weatherstone. Growing up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, she went on to earn degrees in both psychology and elementary education from the University of Michigan. Mrs. Zoller strives to create an engaging and supportive environment for every student. At home, she is a proud parent of three, two biological children and one incredible refugee from Afghanistan. Mrs. Zoller also shares life with a wonderful husband and a beloved dog. Outside of school, she enjoys cheering on the Michigan football team (GO BLUE!) and The Carolina Hurricanes (Go Canes!), taking family vacations, relaxing with a good book, and exploring new technology.

Ms. Candy graduated from Saint Michael's College with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Spanish. She is originally from Northern Virginia, but has lived outside of Boston, Massachusetts for the last four years. She recently has relocated to North Carolina to start her teaching career. Outside of school, Ms. Candy enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends. She is very excited to be a part of the Weatherstone community!

Mrs. Self grew up in Florida but North Carolina is home since 2002. She’s been in the Charlotte area most of this time attending high school, college, and graduate school. She was elated to teach abroad in South Korea in 2011! Her teaching experience ranges from teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades to teaching the Technology special area classes to being an instructional technology facilitator and now getting to teach STEM & AIG here at Weatherstone! The past three years she’s been a rural teacher & realtor in Rutherford county. In addition to this, a gardener, goat and chicken farmer, bee keeper and home renovator! She’s excited to start new in this area to simplify & focus on family, career, and traveling. She has three children here at Weatherstone, a traveling husband, and two certified ESA Mini Aussie dogs. When not at school they’re swimming, biking, exploring or doing art. She’s so excited about what fun this year will bring!
TJ Combs |
Mr. Combs is new to Weatherstone and new to North Carolina, having just recently moved from Connecticut. He graduated from Pace University in New York with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Communications and is currently pursuing a master’s in teaching at Campbell University. A huge sports fan, Mr. Combs enjoys both watching and playing tennis as well as cheering on the Buffalo Bills. When he’s not in school spending time with his amazing students, he loves reading (especially ghost stories), soaking up the North Carolina sunshine, and finding the best Ramen noodle spots around town.
Kamille Klubert |
Ms. Klubert is a recent graduated from NC State (Go Pack!) with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She is dedicated to ensuring that every student feels heard and encouraged in the classroom. Outside of teaching, Ms. Klubert enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors with her dog, and traveling. Her time studying abroad in South Africa, where she assisted in a grade 3 classroom, ignited her passion for travel and deepened her love of education. Ms. Klubert is excited to embark on this journey and make a positive impact!
