• AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college‑readiness program designed to support motivated students in the academic middle who are preparing for admission to a four‑year college or university. Students take an AVID elective course throughout high school that builds skills such as study strategies, note‑taking, time management, writing, and research, while promoting a strong college‑going culture.

    Through rigorous coursework, college and career exploration, guest speakers, field trips, and access to college tutors and scholarship information, AVID helps students challenge themselves academically and plan for their future.
