5th grade Updates - November

Curriculum 

Math: 

We are focusing on completing the multiplication and division of whole numbers. Please help support their learning at home! Next up, we start to multiply and divide fractions.

Science:

We are finishing up Life Science standards and are beginning talking about heat in the water cycle. 

ELA: 

We are beginning the Most Beautiful Roof in the World book where we will learn and apply knowledge of textual structures, build knowledge on the rainforest, and summarize the text! Our focus is currently on non-fiction text and increasing comprehension.
