About: Hello everyone, Miss Cahoon here! I am so happy to be your teacher! I have dreamed about how to lead you through the adventure of 5th grade with enthusiasm and, of course, a lot of fun! I grew up in Richmond, VA and have now settled into Raleigh to spend my time with YOU! I am a graduate from East Carolina University, where I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading and Science. I love learning just as much as teaching, and find that I am always learning just as much as my students. I’ve also completed Graduate School (Hooray!) at East Carolina University, obtaining my Masters of Education. See, you can never stop learning!!
Outside the classroom, you may catch me running around town, reading a good book, relaxing on the beach, or spending time with friends & family. I love being busy and thrive on a packed schedule. However, I love a good afternoon nap and a hot cup of coffee each morning! I'm looking forward to meeting YOU!

About: My name is Olivia Mitchell, and I'm thrilled to be teaching at Hilburn Academy! I grew up in Northwest Pennsylvania (about 2 hours north of Pittsburgh) and am a huge Steelers fan. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, reading, watching new TV shows, and exploring new cities.

About: I love working with kids and being involved in their learning process. I am from North Carolina and went to Appalachian State University. I have worked with children for over 25 years. I am married and have three wonderful kids, a dog, and two cats.
