The Mathematics Department strives to develop a student’s math
skills in such a way that provides 21st century college and workplace
readiness. With the implementation of the Common Core Standards, each
math class will enrich students in the areas of Algebra, Functions,
Number and Quantity, Statistics and Probability, Geometry, and
Modeling. We hope to increase the independent thought, perseverance,
logical arguments, and confidence of all students in areas of
Mathematics. In addition to the Common Core courses, we offer
International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement courses. Ultimately,
our goal is to ensure all students graduate in four years with the
necessary math credits (Common Core I, Common Core II, Common Core III,
and one course higher than Common Core III) to earn a Future Ready
diploma.
