Mrs. Kenya Stewart

Hello Aversboro Owls! My name is Kenya Stewart and I currently teach Pre-K. This will be my 3rd year here (but really my 8th, as I attended Aversboro Elementary as a child). I graduated with a B.S degree in Child Development & Family Relations from North Carolina Central University. I have also received a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and a Birth-Kindergarten Licensure for the University of Mount Olive. I love being a teacher and have been doing so for the past 22 years. When I’m not at school you can find me at home hanging with my husband, my teenage daughter, my dog Sergeant, and my cricut machine creating something for my students!
