Welcome Aversboro Families! My name is Elizabeth Hill and this will be my 17th year at Aversboro. Prior to teaching 3rd grade, I have also taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade. I was born and raised in Charlotte and graduated from Queens University of Charlotte with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and sons, traveling to the beach and getting together with friends and family . I am looking forward to a great year!

Hi! I am Aliyah Curry and this will be my first year at Aversboro Elementary School. I attended Fayetteville State University where I majored in Interdisciplinary studies. I’m a Raleigh native, and a product of Wake County Public Schools. When I’m not in the classroom I enjoy working out, spending time with my family and hanging with my fur babies. I am so excited for this upcoming school year!

My name is Tracy Mithchell. I have been a teacher at Aversboro for 6 months and fulfilled my teacher prep through William Peace University. I have been part of the Aversboro family for 17 years when my two children started school here in 2006. I worked at Aversboro as an Instructional Assistant for 6 years before deciding to go back to school to become an educator. I have been in NC for 23 years. Both of my children are in college. I love working with students to help them achieve their academic goals. These students are our future and I enjoy watching them grow to their full potential!
