Hello Aversboro Families! I have been a School Counselor at Aversboro Elementary for 22 years. I received my Master’s in School Counseling from North Carolina Central University. I received National Board Certification  in 2008. I am from a small town in NC. I have been married for 12 years to my awesome husband. In my free time I enjoy reading a good book, watching movies, and  spending time with my family. It brings me great joy to be a School Counselor. I am Stephanie Taggart, the Speech Language Pathologist based at Aversboro Elementary.  This is my third year working with an amazing special education team at Aversboro and my 9th year working in the public schools.  I have over 24 years experience as a Speech Language Pathologist working in private practice and the schools with children in early intervention through high school.  I enjoy working with students to help them improve their success in their classroom.  I live in Wake County with my two children 14 and 17 years old, my husband, and our dog.  I enjoy running, walking, reading, scrapbooking and baking!
