The purpose of the Wendell Creative Arts & Science Magnet Elementary Student Council is to develop good citizens who can serve as examples for others, provide orderly direction of school activities, and connect the school to the Wendell community.  Students in grades 3-5 are selected by their peers each year to serve as their class representative.  We also hold elections to determine our student council officers, our leaders.  

Some activities the WES Student Council members are involved in are food drives, book drives, raising money for the school during various school events, raising money for greater causes like Pennies for Patients with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, greeters and tour guides for special school events, raising and lowering the flags, recycling, being models of good citizenship for their peers, and so much more.  

The WES Student Council is here to make a difference in our school and in our community!
