My name is Katherine Hrivnak and this will be my 8th year teaching special education. I graduated from Peace University in downtown Raleigh with a dual licensure in both regular and special education. I am originally from Santiago, Chile. I love to share global experiences with my students. In the classroom I strive to help students grow both academically and personally. I love to see students gain confidence and independence. I have two daughters and they also attend Pleasant Grove.! My family has a golden doodle named Chloe.I love to watch soccer and go to museums. I also enjoy teaching our First Tee golf club at school. I will work with our ECS 1 class.
