Madeline Allred, Instructional Assistant

Miss Allred was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. Miss. Allred went to Sanderson High School and then attended Meredith College, where she studied Psychology and Communications. During her time at Meredith, she ran cross country and track and was Vice President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Meredith College is where Miss. Allred found her love for Applied Behavior Analysis. She worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for 2 and half years at two different clinics after college. In her free time, Miss. Allred enjoys going to local coffee shops, spending time with friends, going on walks/runs, and going to NC State football games. Miss. Allred is excited to join the Root Family.

Sondos Almosawi, Instructional Assistant

Ms. Almosawi is originally from Iraq, Baghdad. She has been in education for 24 years. She worked as an elementary school and middle school teacher in Iraq, and after moving to the United States, worked as a substitute teacher for WCPSS. Ms. Almosawi is the mother of 4 young men and she enjoys reading books, listening to classical music, and watching historical TV shows.

Drew Belois, AU/EBS II Teacher

Mr. Belois is originally from Clinton, NY. He received his Masters degree in Special Education in 2011 from Plattsburgh State University.  Prior to that Mr. Belois was an Art Teacher, After School Program Director, Summer Camp Director, and a Day Habilitation Specialist.  Mr. Belois has been happily married for over ten years and has one daughter who currently attends Root Elementary.  When not in school he can be found frequenting the many local museums, parks and zoos with his family, helping friends with minor projects, or volunteering with construction programs in his community.

Jordan Raible, AU/EBS I Teacher

Miss. Raible was born and raised in Indiana, Pennsylvania. She attended Slippery Rock University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood (PreK-4) and Special Education (K-12). After graduating this past May, Miss. Raible decided to move out of Pennsylvania to start her education career in Raleigh. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, friends, going to the beach, exercising, and most importantly, playing with her two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers Chester and Taz! Miss. Raible is excited to have a great school year!
