Family Engagement

Three decades of research have shown that when schools and families work together to support learning, children are inclined to succeed not just in school but throughout life. In the WCPSS, we believe that learning can best take place when there is shared effort, interest, and commitment. So, family engagement is a priority in Title I funded schools. Title I funded schools receive funds to support these efforts. Each school uses these funds for parent and family activities and resources throughout the year.
