Shelter

• In extreme cold or hot temperatures, any individual or family may go to these locations for shelter.

• Overnight drop in shelter (families w/children): Salvation Army, 1863 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, 27604 (opens 7pm, closes 8am)

• Age 18+: For entry to shelters, transitional housing or to receive street outreach services, visit these walk-in Access Sites (no phone calls accepted).

• Age 10-17: Wrenn House, (24/7), (919) 832-7866, 908 W Morgan St, Raleigh, 27603

• Under Age 18: Youth can text SAFE with the current location (address, city, state) to 4HELP (44357) for immediate help 24 hours 7 days a week.

Youth On Their Own

If you are a youth that has runaway or been kicked out of the home, we can help you with food, shelter, clothing, etc. Please speak with your high school SAP Counselor, the School Social Worker at all other schools or any adult with whom you feel comfortable. You will not get in trouble. Your safety is our first priority.
