About: I am so excited to teach first grade at Hilburn! I have lived in North Carolina most of my life with my parents and my older sister. I am an aunt to 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Outside of school, I love to hangout with friends and family, read, workout ,watch college football (go pack), and learn how to cook new recipes.

About: My name is Lauren Cloninger and I have had the pleasure to be a first grade teacher at Hilburn since 2013. I have been happily married since 2014 and we welcomed my son, Felix, to our family in August of 2023. My favorite things are reading, coffee, and sloths! :)

About: Hello, I'm Sarah King!  This is my first year teaching at Hilburn Academy!  I have been teaching for 20 years, 8 of those years have been in WCPSS.  I have two kids and two dogs that keep me busy.  I love to read and spend time with my family.
