About: I have been teaching for over 20 years within WCPSS and this will be my first year teaching 4th grade! I am originally from Washington, DC. I have also lived in Seattle, WA, Dallas, TX, and all over Michigan. I love spending time with my 2 sons, Mason and Jacob. In my spare time, I like to go the beach, spend time with family & friends and work on getting my passport stamped!

About: I graduated from NC State University with my Bachelor's Degree in English, and I was also on the Dance Team & Club Gymnastics Team. I have been teaching dance for 14 years and directed a competitive dance company the past three years. I love going on new adventures and in my free time I like to travel to new and old favorite places, take walks, go to workout classes, go to the beach, go to amusement parks, play board games, and do activities like golf and bowling. My boyfriend and I have 4 cats at home, and you can find us spending our weekends attending NCSU football games, watching Steelers games, going to car shows, and spending time with our friends and family!

About: I'm originally from New York and moved to Raleigh in 2007. I'm married with one daughter who is a college junior (and former hawk!). Hilburn has always been our community school. As such, I have watched it grow and change over the years. One thing that has always remained is the love for students and passion for teaching. I am grateful to be a part of such a great school!
