Hello Yates Mill Families! My name is Lauren Harris and I am a part of the awesome 2nd Grade Team! This is my 11th year teaching at Yates Mill Elementary School and I feel lucky to be a part of the YMES family.
Let me tell you a little about me. I am originally from Plano, Texas and have lived in North Carolina for 12 years now. I love living in Raleigh and I have enjoyed exploring the area. I have a Bachelors Degree in Communications/Public Relations and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia.
When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, walking my new puppy Finley, and escaping to the beach for the weekend. I can’t wait to have another fabulous year in 2nd Grade!
