Hello! My name is Andrea Watts and I am a 2nd grade teacher at Yates Mill Elementary School. I am originally from North Myrtle Beach, SC, but my family and I relocated to the area from Wilmington, NC three years ago. This will be my fourth year teaching at Yates Mill Elementary School and my ninth year teaching all together. 

I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from UNCW. Teaching is a passion of mine and I am lucky enough to have it as my career. It is an amazing opportunity to see children learn and grow each day. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children. I have a son who is 6 years old and a daughter who will be 4 years old. My son will be in first grade at Yates Mill Elementary School this fall. We are enjoying every milestone with our precious family. I am excited for an amazing school year.
