My name is Lane Ryan and this is my third year at Wendell Elementary. I live in Raleigh, but I love the Wendell community so much the commute is worth it! 

I live with my fiancé Nick and our 6-month-old son, Naeem. I enjoy being outside, hiking in the mountains, and swimming at the beach. I love True Crime, anime, candy, and my favorite subject is science. Being an educator is a never-ending learning process. I learn right along with my students. My philosophy for teaching is to always provide a safe and nurturing learning environment and promote classroom discourse.
