My name is Meredith Chappell and I am a first grade teacher at Laurel Park. I have been teaching for nearly 25 years, which is amazing because I am only 25 years old! I absolutely love teaching first graders and have always known that being an educator is my life's calling. I've been a part of the Laurel Park penguin family ever since my daughter was in Kindergarten, and now she is about to graduate high school. There is honestly no other place I would rather be.

I love spending time in the great outdoors with my family.  We like to camp, hike, canoe, or simply spend the day at the beach or lake. We have the sweetest golden retriever and a flock of feisty backyard chickens. I guess that makes me a Chicken Tender.
