I'm very excited to be working at Laurel Park again this year and with the amazing second grade team! I'm originally from a suburb of Philadelphia. I received my bachelor's degree from West Virginia University (Let's go Mountaineers!!!) and went on to complete my master's degree in Elementary Education at Towson University in Maryland. This will be my 20th year teaching. Holy smokes!!! Prior to coming to Laurel Park, I taught at Reedy Creek Elementary (in Cary, NC) and a third/fourth combo class in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Google it and you'll see why I was there. :-)

I have a son, Jack, who will be starting 9th grade this year, and a Shepard mix named Dakota. I love walking on the local Greenway paths, listening and reading, trying new recipes, and catching up with friends.
