Ms. Burton is the new school counselor at Laurel Park Elementary. While she is new to Laurel Park, she brings several years of experience supporting and advocating for students. Now in her fourth year in counseling, she is dedicated to helping children grow both academically and emotionally.

A proud graduate of North Carolina Central University. Ms. Burton enjoys spending time outdoors, caring for her poodle and plants, spending time with family and friends, and watching her children grow into beautiful people.

She looks forward to connecting with students, families, and staff to help make this a positive and successful school year at Laurel Park Elementary.
