Ms. Hoyes is a new school health nurse. She previously worked as a pediatric nurse at UNC Childrens Hospital for 13 years and as a nurse practitioner at Kids Care Pediatrics for 6 years. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from UNC Chapel Hill. Ms. Hoyes is looking forward to working with parents and school staff to help children achieve good health and academic success. When she’s not working, some of her favorite things are spoiling her dogs (2 Boston terriers), traveling to other countries, and trying new and different types of food.
