Dana Dougherty-Primiano AKA Ms. "P" is originally from Staten Island, New York.  She began her career as a classroom teacher and then transitioned to the role of teacher trainer for the NYC Teacher Center, where she trained teachers throughout NY City.  She became an Assistant Principal in 2003.  Her family moved to NC in 2005, and she began to work at Fuller GT Magnet Elementary as an Assistant Principal.  In 2009, Ms. P. went on to Rolesville Elementary School where she served as the Assistant Principal for 3 years and then became the Principal and served in that role for 10 years.  Ms. P is the Mom to two children who are in college and high school.  During her free time she loves to read and garden.  Ms. P is beginning her third year here at WMES and is looking forward to many exciting things this year!
