Ms. Dovile Bereisyte, Teacher
Ms. Dovile is a Kindergarten teacher at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet school. She has a strong passion for teaching young children, especially in kindergarten, because this is where their love for learning truly begins. She finds great joy in helping young children explore the world around them, develop their confidence, and grow. Before joining Green, Ms. Dovile taught at a charter school and previously worked as a preschool teacher.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, going to ballet performances, exploring new places, and trying new foods.

Mrs. Lori Sankary Edmond, Teacher
Mrs. Edmond is a Kindergarten teacher at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary. She earned her BS in Elementary Education with a Math Concentration from East Carolina University. She has a passion for creating spaces that feel positive, safe and inclusive for all students. Before joining the Green family, she taught K-2nd grade in Charlotte, North Carolina and Oceanside, California for 8 years. She is very excited to enter year 9 with a new community. Mrs. Edmond has experience leading AND following fellow educators, hosting student teachers, creating and organizing student clubs/events and much more. Teaching runs in her family, therefore she has been inspired since day one to serve the future leaders of tomorrow, which she takes very seriously. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and doing anything that relates to the arts. She has a plethora of hobbies, including painting, skating, protective hair styling, and creating digital products, just to name a few. She takes it upon herself to learn as much as she can in this lifetime because knowledge is power.

Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University
Ms. Ashelyn Vinsel, Teacher
Ms. Vinsel is a Kindergarten teacher at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University in 2024. She brings high energy and enthusiasm into the classroom where her students feel safe to express themselves in a positive environment, which allows students to foster a love for learning. Before joining Green, she was a 1st grade teacher in Boone, North Carolina, and has also worked with children as a gymnastics coach and outdoor summer camp counselor. In her free time, Ms. Vinsel loves to spend her time outdoors hiking with her dog, paddleboarding, and camping, but when indoors she can be found listening to music, watercoloring, and making jewelry. She feels so very lucky to be teaching Kindergarten this year, and cannot wait to meet her wonderful class!

Ms. Caroline Wells, Teacher
Caroline Wells is a Kindergarten teacher at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary. She has taught at Green for the past five years, which has brought her so much joy. Her favorite part of being a Kindergarten teacher is helping students discover a love of learning and build strong relationships from the beginning. Ms. Wells grew up in Raleigh and attended Appalachian State. Outside of school, she loves spending time with family and friends, traveling to the beach or mountains, and trying out new restaurants.

Ms. Jasmin Harris, Instructional Assistant
Ms. Harris is an instructional assistant at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary. She earned her bachelor’s degree in University Studies with a minor in Child Development from East Carolina University, where she developed a passion for supporting children’s growth and creating positive learning experiences. Before joining Green, she served as a Pre-K Lead Teacher at Primrose School, where she discovered the joy of helping young learners build confidence and a love for education. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling with her family and staying active at the gym.

Ms. Williams is an Instructional Assistant at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary School. She earned her Associates in Early Childhood Education at Wayne Community College. Her passion is making sure all leaders have positive and fun experiences while learning each day. Before joining Green, she worked as a Preschool Teacher, Pre K assistant and Head Start assistant. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Suanny Ruiz, Instructional Assistant
Ms. Suanny is a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant certified in Business Administration and Human Resources. She is passionate about and caring for the well-being of others. Before joining Green, she was a Teacher Assistant in Early Childhood Education. She is inspired by the love and passion of serving others and provides the best instructional support with a positive attitude. Outside of school, she enjoys going to eat and spending time with family and church fellows.
