I have been employed with the WCPSS for 23+ years. This is my third year at Green Magnet Elementary as a 5th grade teacher. In 2022-23, I was gifted the honor of becoming Wake County’s Diane Kent-Parker “First Year” Teacher of the Year recipient. I was (continue to be) so excited and thrilled about this wonderful opportunity to represent Green Magnet Elementary School. I believe that I have a great passion for teaching and being in the classroom making a difference in the lives of children.

Hello, I am Tashyra Fowler! This is my 3rd year teaching fifth grade in Wake County. I have a daughter named Meilani, and during my free time I enjoy spending time with her, shopping or reading a book!
