Hello! My name is Aurelia Hawes! I'm a native of Wilmington, NC. I moved to the RTP area to attend college at the illustrious North Carolina Central University, where I obtained my Bachelors in Child Development and Family Relations. I have a younger sister, and a Yorkie named Roscoe. I joined the Green family in August of 2018, and have been home ever since. This will be my third year teaching 2nd grade, and I am extremely excited about what's to come!!

Hi! My name is Dr. Kaye and this is my first year at Green Elementary - I am excited to join the Green Team! I am new to Raleigh having lived in South Florida all my life. Hi! I'm Mrs. Shively and I'm so looking forward to a great school year at Green! I'm from Jacksonville, NC and graduated from East Carolina University. I began my career in New Bern and after teaching there for 3 years I moved back home and taught there for 6 years. This will be my 2nd year at Green and my 11th year teaching, so while I'm new to the area, I'm not new to the profession! I recently got married, so you may remember me as Ms. Tucker, but I have a new name now! I have a creative heart and love to sing, dance, and act. My favorite things are Jesus and Sweet Tea! I can hardly wait to see what this school year holds! 🙂

Hello! I'm Ms. Winnix and I'm so excited to return to Green this year! This is my 3rd year in 2nd grade. I've been in various roles in education for 8 years. I'm originally from Greensboro, NC. I moved to Raleigh to attend North Carolina State University (GO PACK) and fell in love with this city! Outside of school, I enjoy working out, anything related to music, traveling to try new foods, and watching movies with my Chihuahua Uno. I love to shop and do brain puzzles too! I'm excited for another year with Green! ❤️
