  • UNC - Chapel Hill STEM Camps
    Get a taste of collegiate life this summer at UNC-Chapel Hill. Our STEM camps strike the perfect balance between skill development and summer fun, allowing kids and teens to experience a week at one of the best teaching and research universities in the country. Your child will work alongside new friends and learn from expert tech mentors, while taking breaks in between to enjoy UNC-Chapel Hill's outdoor playing fields for ultimate frisbee, capture the flag, kickball, board games, and more!

    NCSU Design Camp
    Design Camp is a multi-discipline pre-college design program organized by the NC State Design Lab for high school and middle school students. Held each summer, Design Camp informs students about the study of design and raises awareness of the impact of design on all aspects of our everyday lives. The design thinking skills and creative experience gained can empower students on their path toward becoming innovative problem solvers and prepare them to tackle the challenges of the future.

    WTCC Dental Bootcamp
    Ideal for students interested in becoming dental assistants, hygienists, technicians and/or dentists to engage in dental activities. Click this link for more information.

    Duke Pre-College Program
    Apply to join Duke University this summer in one of our academic programs for grades 6-11.Academically motivated middle and high school students will discover courses from across the curriculum in our summer programs this June and July. Courses are offered in engineering, humanities, mathematics, science, social sciences and technology. Application links and information about program types, FAQs, course descriptions, costs and dates can be found on our website

    Campbell University Summer STEM Program
    While this will be different than our STEM Camp, students will still be exposed to science and engineering through hands-on activities with faculty and staff from the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences and School of Engineering. 

    NCSU Pre-College Programs
    We host three pre-college programs for rising juniors and seniors to learn about higher education opportunities and cultural reinforcement. This is for students to find and build a strong sense of community while also preparing for the college application process and university experience.

    NC A&T Summer High School Transportation Institute
    Students take an in-depth dive into career pathways in transportation, experience cutting edge research centers, visit key industry partners, and receive SAT prep in Math and English, all for free! They’ll experience lectures from our first-rate faculty and get a crash course in conducting undergraduate research at a university.

    Chowan University Academic Summer Camp
    Campapalooza is a 5-day academic summer camp for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. They will live on campus, have their meals in the university cafeteria, and spend their days engaged in exciting academic activities with our university faculty!  There are multiple camps to choose from.

    William Peace Summer Camps

    UNC Charlotte Healthcare Career Camp
    UNC Charlotte is hosting a residential camp for high school students interested in a healthcare career.
    The purpose of this program is to:

    • Train high school students on varied healthcare careers (scopes of practice) and corresponding entry points (e.g., certificate programs, associate-level licensure programs, undergraduate, and professional graduate programs)
    • Increase knowledge and intention among prospective healthcare workforce members
    • Build the NC Healthcare workforce pipeline, and
    • Increase the entry of students from underrepresented populations or underserved communities into the NC Healthcare workforce pipeline.

    North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University
    North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES) is pleased to invite students to participate in a four-week residential summer program for rising high school juniors and seniors. In addition to the benefits of these scholarly activities, students will receive a stipend of $200 upon completion of the summer program and a $800 participation scholarship when they enroll at N.C. A&T in one of the many CAES programs.

    • Gain first-hand experience in research conducted under the direction of the CAES research scientists.
    • Conduct research projects ranging from animal sciences, biological engineering, pesticide studies, biotechnology, and horticulture to air quality, food and nutrition and international trade.
    • Gain exposure to a number of structured activities, including field trips, workshops and laboratory demonstrations, and instruction in computer applications, technical and scientific writing and public speaking.​
