Hello! My name is Susie Grace and I am so excited to be a new member of Laurel Park Elementary School teaching third grade this year. I have 20 plus years of experience in education as both a classroom teacher and as a district leader. I graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and obtained my Master of Science degree in Reading Education from UNC Pembroke. I am also certified as a K-12 Reading Specialist. Although, I am originally from New York State, I have lived in North Carolina with my husband and four children for over 30 years.

In my free time I love to travel. I had a wonderful experience of backpacking across Europe and studying abroad in London England during my junior year of college. I also love to read, take care of my dogs and spend time with my family.
