Calendar Application School Changes

The initial draft of the Student Enrollment Proposal includes a proposal that would change the calendar application school for some base assignment areas. Students who live in the base attendance area of the following schools are proposed to have changes to their calendar application schools:

Elementary Schools

• Apex Elementary
• Baucom Elementary
• Buckhorn Creek Elementary
• Fuquay Varina Elementary
• Herbert Akins Road Elementary
• Holly Grove Elementary
• Holly Ridge Elementary
• Holly Springs Elementary
• Lincoln Heights Elementary
• Oak Grove Elementary
• Olive Chapel Elementary
• Salem Elementary
• Scotts Ridge Elementary
• South Lakes Elementary

Middle Schools

• Carroll Magnet Middle
• Centennial Campus Magnet Middle
• Dillard Drive Magnet Middle
• Holly Grove Middle
• Leesville Road Middle
• Pine Hollow Middle
• River Bend Middle
• Rolesville Middle
• West Millbrook Middle

If the proposal is approved, students affected by this change would have three options:

• Apply to remain at their current school. You would not be eligible for district transportation.
• Apply to any other school during the magnet/year-round application period or the request for transfer period. Use the address lookup tool to determine if transportation will be provided.
• Attend your base school. District transportation will be provided. 

After the Board approves the final plan, we will contact the affected students to discuss these choices.
