I am excited to begin my journey this year as a Pre-K Instructional Assistant Teacher at YMES. I originally earned my degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) in India and worked as a Lab Technician for seven years. After moving to the USA, I was unable to work until I received my work permit, at which point I decided to follow a new path in education. For the past two years, I have been working as a substitute teacher, which has strengthened my passion for teaching and supporting young learners.

Outside of school, my husband and I live in Apex with my amazing kids. I enjoy dancing and cooking. I also work as a dance choreographer with the Rhythm Dance Group, which brings me great joy. I am a proud mother of two-my son is currently studying at NC State, and my daughter is a high school senior. My husband and kids are my world, and together we share our home with our spoiled little puppy who especially loves my cooking. I am so excited to be part of the Yates Mill Family.
