Juli Ventura

Hello! My name is Juli Ventura and I am the proud principal of Jeffreys Grove Elementary where I’ve been serving since 2019. I used to teach Spanish but I transitioned to school leadership in 2010 after earning my Masters is School Administration from NC State. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to Raleigh in 2000. My son, Marcos, and my daughter, Ana, were also born in Argentina and speak English and Spanish fluently. My personal motto is “Challenge, Educate, Love and Support.”

I enjoy cooking, reading, organizing, traveling, going to the movies and making friends. In my free time I go to the gym – my favorite classes are yoga, pilates, strength training and cardio.

Maureen Rogne-Percy

I have been an educator for 38 years and am proud to be in my fourth year as Assistant Principal at Jeffreys Grove Spanish Immersion Magnet Elementary. I love working with our young learners, dedicated staff, and supportive families to make school a safe and happy place for everyone.
Originally from California, I have also lived and taught in Guam and Japan before making North Carolina my home 31 years ago—so I consider myself almost a native! I attended college at UCLA and remain a loyal Bruins fan, and I also love cheering for the Carolina Hurricanes.
Outside of school, I’m an avid traveler who has visited more than 55 countries. I enjoy exercising, reading, and spending time with my husband, our three adult children, and four wonderful grandchildren.
