Amilyn Konopki, School Counselor

Hello! My name is Amilyn Konopki, and I was born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The 25-26 school year will be my first year as a Jeffreys Grove Eagle, but I have previously been a school counselor in the northern Virginia area. I reside here with my fiance, Winn, and our labrador retriever, Bo. 

Outside of school, some of the things I enjoy are running/working out, shopping, hanging out with friends/family, and being at the beach. I also am a huge college football fan and cheer on the Penn State Nittany Lions (WE ARE).

Deana Bagley, Social Worker

Hello! My name is Deana Bagley and I’m a North Carolina native and product of WCPSS schools (Bugg, Carnage & Enloe). This is my first year at Jeffreys Grove but my 17th year in the district. I’m married with a 12 year old son and we adore our Westie pup!

 

Outside of school I am a full time hockey mom! We love traveling to watch my son play and of course the Carolina Hurricanes! I also enjoy spending time with family and friends and visiting the NC mountains or beaches. My favorites are Beaufort and Boone.

Jessica Stewart, School Nurse

Hello!  My name is Jessica Stewart and I am the school nurse for Jeffreys Grove and Barton Pond Elementary Schools. I have been a school nurse for 6 years and a nurse for 28 years. I am an Eastern NC native. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and 3 adult children as much as possible and prefer most of that time to be at the beach/on the water!

Gaby Lyons

Hi everyone! My name is Gaby Lyons. I was born in Panama City, Panama but was raised in Buffalo, NY.  I moved to Cary, NC, four years ago to complete a master’s program  in communication sciences and disorders at North Carolina Central University. Prior to becoming a speech pathologist, I was a high school Spanish and French teacher in Buffalo. I grew up speaking Spanish and English at home and as an adult, I learned French and Brazilian Portuguese. I am passionate about supporting bilingual students and am excited about this new experience! 

In my free time, I love to travel, read, and spend time with friends and family. This summer, I spent three weeks traveling in Brazil and Argentina.
